Audio Announcements are a feature in Whitecoast City Railway and were added in Version 1.0. The On-Board announcements were slightly modified in Version 1.0.1. They were revamped in Version 1.1 with a new announcer.
Description[]
Audio Announcements are an essential part of Whitecoast City Railway. There are two types of announcements: Station announcements and On-board announcements.
Station announcements[]
As the name suggests, the station announcements are played at stations. They are played at all stations in game. Prior to 1.1, the voice used for these announcements were Text-To-Speech. Nowadays, they are voiced by Applesville, although Text-To-Speech may announce station events. They are used to announce trains arriving at the station and which stations the train is calling at, trains passing through the station, cancelled trains, events (such as power outages and lifts not working) and general information.
Through service[]
If a train is stopping at a station which is not its origin or terminating point, the following announcement will play:

No toilet facilities[]
If Classes 121, 142, 195, or 323 arrive, the following is added:

Ready to depart[]
If a train arrives at a station past the due departure time, the following may play:

Starting service[]
If a train is starting at the station, the following announcement will play:

Terminating service[]
If a train is terminating at the station, the following announcement will play:

Cancelled service[]
If a player decides to delete their train without finishing the route, or their train gets deleted due to too many SPADs, or derails, the following announcement will play:
| Announcement: | "We are sorry to announce that the (HH):(MM/o'clock) City Line/Green Arrow service to (insert destination here) has been cancelled. This is due to... (reason here). Customers are advised that they may be entitled to compensation for this disruption today." |

Skipping service[]
If a train is skipping a the station, the following announcement will play:
| Announcement: | "The train now approaching platform (platform number here) doesn't stop here. Please stand well clear of the edge at this station." |
Prior to version 1.1, this announcement could only be heard at Newingham Street as that station was the only station to have services that skip it. This then changed to Whitecoast South, and only on the weekdays.
This announcement has become more common since Green Arrow was introduced in 1.2.
General Information[]
These announcements are triggered by a Platform Staff on-duty. Platform Staff must play these announcements every 10 minutes or less. These announcements have a two minute cooldown for Platform Staff and can be played via the "announcements" tab on the player's Platform Staff GUI.
| CCTV Announcement: | "24 hour CCTV recording is in operation at this station for the purpose of security and safety management." |
| Litter Announcement: | "Dear passengers, please do not litter around the station! There are trash bins located at various points around the platforms and the concourse!" |
| British Transport Police Announcement: | "If you see something that doesn't look right, speak to a staff, or text the British Transport Police at 61016. We will sort it. See it, Say it, Sorted!" |
| Delays Announcements: | "Dear passengers, we are sorry to announce that there are currently various delays in the mainline service! We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We work hard daily to improve our service. Thank you for your comprehension and have a good journey!" |
| Don't Trespass Announcements: | "Do not attempt to trespass at any point on our stations. As it endangers our operations. Thank you." |
| Contact Staff Announcements: | "If you notice anything out of the ordinary, do not hesitate to contact the nearest member of train crew." |

When an incident occurs at a station. The following will play in addition to an announcement depending on the incident:

Trivia[]
- There was formerly an announcement about a person getting hit by a train. This had a chance to play when a train despawned mid-route.
- This was heavily criticised due being an implication of suicide in a game accessible to a young audience. It was also criticised for tone of that specific announcement.
- This announcement was removed shortly after the release of Version 1.2.
