Birchmere Junction is a major station in Whitecoast City Railway that opened in Version 1.2. It is served by City Line services to Norwich Central, Blackwater, Northernville and Redborough, as well as Green Arrow services to Norwich Central and Blackwater. It is currently for terminating services only, although there are through platforms for future use.
As of Version 1.2, this station is one of 5 stations operated by Transport Whitecoast, the others being Norwich Central, Blackwater, Mirna Harbour and Whitecoast Central.
Description[]
Birchmere Junction has a giant brick building with a clock on it. Despite being a major station, there are no ticket machines or barriers at this station, with there only being a small concourse. Step free access is available via a small ramp, although this is a little steep.
Platforms 1-3 (all terminating) are partly inside the brick building, covered by a canopy. These platforms can be used by any service that terminates here. The whole of through platforms 4 and 5, as well as the rest of the terminating platforms, are outdoors with small waiting shelters being provided. Two footbridges with lifts, one at each end of the through platforms, allow access to platform 5.
Platform 4 cannot be accessed by trains due to the track layout not allowing services to terminate here and no services heading northbound from here. Platform 5 is only used for Green Arrow services originating from Birchmere Depot.

- The entrance to the maintenance room is unique for taking up a commercial unit opposite the station. The actual maintenance room is also located directly underneath the commercial unit.
- This is one of 10 stations that can accommodate a Platform Staff, the others being Blackstone, Blackwater, Bracknell Parkway, Chichester City, Mirna Harbour, Mirna Town, Norwich Central, Redborough, and Whitecoast Central.
